I've been back to Umiya four times now, and it keeps delivering on every level. The food is consistently incredible, the service is top-notch, and the bar vibe is exactly what I'm looking for after a long day. The martinis? Fantastic. All of them! A special shoutout to Alex, who is a phenomenal bartender. He takes the time to listen, understand your preferences, and creates cocktails that match perfectly. It's clear he takes pride in his craft, and it makes every visit feel personal and memorable. DISCLAIMER: If Alex isn't bartending, all bets are off. The quality of the drinks is definitely different. Umiya has officially become one of my go-to spots!

Absolutely love this place! I went for lunch between classes to get some schoolwork done, and I'll just say I was not disappointed. And the music was on point! Very hip hop Christmas and I loved it. I got the all you can eat lunch special and I wish I was hungrier. I could only put away 4 rolls & some crab puffs but everything was so good. I got the California roll while I searched the menu for good specialty rolls. I proceeded to get the shaggy dog, Texas, and Lexington rolls. The Texas roll was my favorite, but they were all delicious. My server stayed on top of my refills and orders. Everything was so friendly. I can't wait to go back and try their cocktails! They sound delicious

We were excited to try the new location. We were quickly and friendly sat. The location was an old macaroni grill but they did a good job adding Japanese decor to make it feel more sushi. Good came out quickly and was accurate and our server was very nice. Solid sushi and an amazing deal for $30pp. I love their udon noodles too!

All you can eat sushi spot and one of the best! There are a lot of options so explore the menu.We ordered like 3 things at a time so we didn't waste. The plates came out very quickly. The appetizer ones are a two slices of fish topped. It's the perfect bite. They also offer spicy mayo and wasabi for the table.

Many good lunch specials. Enjoyed my rolls and a seaweed salad. Friendly, attentive staff. Full bar with seating. Highly recommend!

So glad they opened up this 2nd location! It seems smaller than the I-10 location but the service seems to be a lot better here. Quality of food is still excellent. We went around 3pm on a Saturday and there was no wait and they had the lunch pricing for AYCE.

I really liked this restaurant and I would definitely eat here again. The food was delicious and the prices were good. The ambiance and service were also great... as well as the selection. My husband and I went during lunch, so we both got the all you can eat so that I could try a couple of different things, including their tempura Oreo... however, I suspected that I wouldn't be able to eat very much and almost didn't get the all you can eat, but I am glad I did, even though I only ate 1.5 rolls plus a cone. I still got to try the tempura Oreo and an appetizer. Everything was superb. One thing I really liked is that some of the rolls have a (5) which means that you don't have to order a huge roll with 8-10 pieces... you can order one with just 5 pieces so that you don't get super full on one, you can try more! The "guide" at the bottom is also easy to understand - meaning, cooked roll, raw roll or vegetarian roll. I liked that. I don't do raw anymore so that was helpful. Next time, I will order 2 or 3 rolls which is a bit cheaper and if I can't finish, I can take a to-go box. But I am glad I went with the all you can eat the first time because the price was not bad (for lunch) and I got to try what I wanted.

Location was really good. And the decor was fantastic. Loved the big cat and the woven fish lights. I had the dinner meal with the appetizer, noodles/rice, and sushi roll. It was delicious. The waiter was nice and very informative. He was busy with the Labor Day rush.

Umiya sushi is a delightful gem for sushi lovers, offering a perfect blend of fresh ingredients, skilled preparation, and an inviting ambiance. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and authentic Japanese atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for both dinner with friends and special occasions. The sushi here is outstanding, with an impressive variety of rolls, nigiri, and sashimi. Each dish is meticulously crafted, showcasing the freshness of the seafood and the precision of the chefs. The rolls just melt in your mouth, and the spicy crunch roll is a must-try for those who enjoy a mix of textures and flavors. The menu also features creative fusion options, but without compromising the traditional essence of sushi. The staff is quick and attentive. They make sure your dining experience is smooth, whether you're a seasoned sushi enthusiast or a first-timer. They are quick with it, respectfully. The restaurant strikes a perfect balance between modern elegance and traditional Japanese design. Soft lighting, minimalistic décor, and soothing music with a touch fun to create a calm and relaxing environment and a sprinkle bangers. It's a great place for a date night or a dinner with friends. While Umiya is roughly $31 for all you can eat, the quality of the food justifies the cost. Portions are generous, and the attention to detail in every dish makes it worth every penny. Umiya truly surprised me. Whether you're there for a quick bite or a semi fancy dinner, you'll leave satisfied and eager to return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking high-quality sushi and excellent service.

I'm so happy they opened a location near me. I love the portion sizes for the sushi and sashimi. I also love that there really isn't a limit (execpt per serving) The restaurant itself was pretty cozy and clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Even the restrooms were clean. Not Buc-ee's clean, but clean. Food... to get our money's worth we avoided (as much as possible) anything with rice. However, I couldn't resist getting a spicy salmon hand role. Those are really yummy. We started with mostly sashimi and some of the sashimi flavored appetizers. The photo is of (starting from the top) Salmon Tataki, Pepper Tuna, Tuna Cappaccio, and Yellowtail on Fire. All very delicious, but overall, my favorites were the Tuna Cappaccio and Yellowtail on Fire. Kinda wish they had a Salmon Cappaccio or even a Scallops Cappaccio! I wish I got a photo of the Fried Oreos!! Those were deadly delicious! I was so full, I kinda wanted to get more. I also got the green tea ice cream (wasn't a fan). Overall, I had to give this place 5 stars Those fried oreos though!!!
